Caught Oliver and Peep happily pulling feathers out of the hole they made in my down throw. Bless their little hearts.

Oliver has discovered that a boing has a use other than perching. I would now know he is a male even without DNA! And he’s very good at it already. :rotfl

I've seen females do the self satisfaction thing and I knew they were hens! Maybe......or maybe not......

I don't know. He's pretty vigorous at it. I mean he REALLY gets that tail going. Gussie did a bit of butt rubbing but not with such energy. And he persists till he's successful.

If you remember, I was concerned when I heard Oliver courting Peep, thinking that he could tell Peep was a female. Immature, but still female. Well, this morning he was clicking to the boing. :happy:. Then, Peep came up behind him to preen him while he was still "recovering" from completion of his business. It took him a few seconds to come out of his "coma". These two are certainly entertaining!
