Hi Linda and all

Well its been 2 yrs and 2 months since Princesse was diagnosed ( liver tumor) and she is still with me.

I got a little worried on Sunday because she barely ate a thing, kept calling me to hold her. Then yesterday she ate pretty good, climbed up her rope to sit on the window sill, only called me the usual times and was 100% better than Sunday. It was a relief. You can see her beak condition from this pic. She's been very picky. last couple days; she'll eat her pasta, some seeds . But she wont go near pellets nor oat groats which she used to love. She also gave up on the sprouts I was making.

Thouight Id share a cute pic of her tucked in her bag with her little toys. She used to hump them now she sleeps on em.https://i.ibb.co/Rh2X3NY/p-RINCESSE-AND-PALS-AUG-23-2019.jpg

Hope all your lovies are doing well.

Ellen

Thanks for the update on Princesse, Ellen! She's going to have good days, as well as bad. Have you ever tried making my homemade cornbread? You can find the recipe here: http://www.lovebirdsplus.com/community/showthread.php?190-Homemade-Cornbread Anything I want my flock to eat, I put in my cornbread. Once I bake it, I cool it and then crumble it for easy eating. Mine go nuts when they see the feeding container that I keep it in.

I'm going to make a suggestion and see if you can get more holistic information that may help. Contact a lady named Lainey Alexander. She owns EssentialBird on YahooGroups.com. She was a BIG help to me when my Turquoise Green Cheek conure developed an inoperable tumor in his reproductive area. My vet could not do anything and I got Lainey's help a bit too late but she definitely has information worth asking for.

HI

Yes Ive given her that corn bread for years and she used to love it. Now it just sits so I stopped giving it to her.. Maybe I'll try making some more.
