I had Birdy for 8 years yet she never crashed into a window once, unfortunately, I lost peach on her 1st day because she crashed into a window. Peach was a very fragile bird from the beginning and I never really knew her but I want to avoid this in the future. Just to be on the safe side we have decided to clip Mango's wings but for when they grow back is there something I can do to prevent it?

Window collisions can have horrible endings, as did the one Peach experienced. The problem is that the bird just does not realize that there's an obstacle in the way because glass is clear and gives the appearance of being able to keep on flying. One thing you can try is sheer white curtains. Light still comes in. You can still see out of the window and the bird can see the obstacle int the way. I have 2 conures who are expert flyers and I keep the outermost 2-3 flights clipped at all times so that they can't reach some of the places I don't want them to go. Ayanna, my Pineapple Green Cheek flies around with a lot of power so collisions would not end well for her. She is one of a handful of my parrots who are clipped all the time.

Note: I moved your question regarding window collisions to Behavior and Taming, as the topic fits better here.

That's what I did at my old house.

Now I just leave the windows filthy. They don't fly through the dirt. (ok I don't do that).
