We moved to a rural area, and got lucky with a house that has a perfect nook for the bird room. It's right off of and open to the living room, so the birds are part of the bustle of the house. There's a skylight and recessed light fixtures we're setting up on a timer to try and keep a consistent light cycle. Frey loves to chirp along with the frogs. We didn't have any in the city. Both lovebirds are doing great here. They've both gotten more energetic and put on a little weight. I love to see it, and am glad they're happy here.

I'm so happy to hear that the lovies are enjoying their new home in a rural area! I made a move back in 2018 that took me from a busy location to one that is quieter and not as populated and the flock loves it, although it took a while to adjust. I had birds while living in a house that was not really set up for what I had and I didn't make the same mistake again. Glad to hear that all is well with you!!
