Soundproofing and keep the heat/cool air in

I have been looking for some alternatives for soundproofing ( I have a grumpy neighbor that complained about the birds) and found this site and the window product is reasonable in price and might help in both keeping the sound in and keeping the heat in too since the windows in the house are a little old.
