OMG!!!
Is that not the cutest, ugliest thing you ever saw????
I have to say they look very unusal, but I still thing the Hyacinth is just the most gorgeous macaw ever. Believe it or not, I like the military macaw better than the B&G.
Nope, if I ever get a bigger parrot, it will be a grey:)

That is my all time favorite parrot (next to Ditto). I wish I could afford to have one one day.

I remember seeing photos of these 2 when they were still babies. Apparently, they are a natural mutation of B&G. I hadn't seen the one of the baby fully feathered. Beautiful, just beautiful!
I have seen that website before, aren't they amazing:omg:
The weird thing is, they are NSL (non sex linked) they are actually Recessive Lutino's. Which means they will have to inbreed to get more:roll:

Lutino in Fischer's and Masked lovebirds is recessive, also. To do it properly, each should be bred to an unrelated bloodline and then the chicks bred back to each other. Each chick is guaranteed to inherit the gene from just the one parent so all babies in every clutch will carry the Lutino gene. It will take a couple of generations but it's possible to get good mutations from these 2.
Yeah i know, but it would have been better if they were sex linked or at least a few unrelated birds.

Aww, they're beautiful. I'm always suspicious that photoshop has been implemented, but it does look pretty real.

Hi Lisa,
They're very real and they caused quite a stir in the bird world. This is very similar to what happened when the Opaline mutation in lovebirds showed up from 2 very normal looking rescue Green Peachies about 8 yrs. ago. :)

Oh who cares about all the dang genetic mumbo jumbo, and scientific stuph...
They look cute! What else needs to be said?
:lol :lol :lol
There are a lot of mutations in Macaws, just people don't know about them.
There are Blues, Lutinos, Pieds, and Grey-Greens:omg:
