I called my sister today to wish her a  happy birthday:happy: and she told me a story about the birdie bread recipe I shared with her for her budgies.
She is always trying new recipies from other cultures so when her husband came in and smelled a delightful aroma of fresh bread, he cut a slab and slathered it with butter. She walked back into the kitchen in time to see this strange look on his face. He was trying to relish the texture and taste and was having a little difficulty.
Later when she put some in the birdcages, he slyly commented that "even the birds are rejecting it". Of course they proved him wrong.:D
I know now what to bake him for his birthdaygag gift:whistle:
