Well I went to the bird fair and had fun. I was upset though. Every time I found a bird I liked it was sold or had to be bought in a pair.Husband got very mad because I found a Cinnimon I loved but after waiting 30 minutes to be helped we were told most of the birds in the cage were sold. Husband thought they should of had a sign or something. Then he found some Luntinos and Creaminos. I laughed because my husband was the one finding 90% of the birds. I was giving up when he found some more. In the cage was a Nomal green, a black masked, and another bird. The owner says it is a blue masked( am not 100% sure though) and I fell in love. She told me the bird is partialy handtame and about 1yr old.The bird does not have a name yet. We got her home and she is going to be in a small cage tonight and move to new digs tomarrow. She only bit me once when I moved her to the cage. After Baggys bites this was not painful..lol. I got a new cage for her and have to build it tonight. Baggy and Whisper know there is another bird and have been calling. I will take pictures tomarrow and show them.

Ok I ended up taking a few pictures after all. They are not great because was trying not to scare the poor thing. I also took one of the new cage without anything in it. (I need to get more toys).http://www.imagestation.com/album/pictures.html?id=2108622211&idx=0 I am confused as to if it is a masked or a fisher though. I will take more pictures tomarrow after the cage switch.

Congrats Steph!!! I know you have been wanting a masked lovie since Angel passed. She is a cutie:D . Zimberhoffen is my first lovie and he is a cobalt blue mask (avatar). They are beautiful birds and a little wild too:D .

Yep, I remember seeing this one at the birdfair. It was the only cobalt at the show and I got there at 9am when they opened. The vendor also had a pair of Fischer's dilutes, but sold them before everyone else got there. I still can't get over how small they are compared to PF lovies. Congrats on your find.

Well I am hoping yall can help me with a name for the new baby. Cause I am stumped on a name. I got the cage at the fair also. My husband actually picked it out.lol. I got to see Janie,Jackie,and Lori but only for a few seconds. My husband found a Zestos he had to eat at before the show and I was late getting there. But I had a blast and am so very glad I found this baby. Now I just need a name..lol.

Congratulations on your new mask! She's very cute and I do remember you've always said that you have a soft spot for masks so I'm glad you finally got your wish :). I'm not good with names at all, but I was thinking since she looks so sweet and she is blue, maybe Celeste? Celeste is a shade of blue (sky blue) in Spanish :). Or maybe Skye?

Anyway, I'm sure you'll get more suggestions. Congrats once again!

Purdy Birdie Steph...glad you found a masked lovie. Gosh, if it were male it would have to be Zorro. But if it's a girl....I just don't know. I haven't even named my last 3 lovies. For some reason Sierra comes to mind. Now why can't I think of names for my own.:confused:
