Hi everyone,
I wanted to post a follow up about my lovebird, Ebby, and his tailfeather picking! I brought Ebby in and they diagnosed the problem as an over-worried mom :) Actually, they said that because he's 18 (yes, 18!), it's possible he's just losing some feathers, but there's no infection, and there's nothing related to the loss of the blood feather. Otherwise, they were more interested in the fact that he was 18 and looked like he is 5! I should be posting photos soon (maybe this week) so you can see my little lovie. We now have a spray to stop the picking, but otherwise, he's doing just fine.
