Yep, I've been there. It's a really neat place. Ron and his wife are loaded with rescue parrots. They do have lovebirds :D The land they are currently on was donated cause for some reason (Ron told me, but I can't remember why) Ron can't get any government grant money to help run the place anymore. Everything they have or get is donated. We took fruit & veggies when we went and fed all the parrots. It was really fun! They have a fundraiser BBQ every Memorial Day weekend. It's a bit of distance for us, but we'd love to go back sometime. We see Ron at some of the birdfairs that are usually in South Carolina. Thanks for the link. I haven't been on the website for a while.

Very Interesting. I'd imagine for a Military man to give up his full time job to save birds full time, things are probably run very well. He must have a very special touch to heal birds that have terminal illness and no other hope. Truely Inspiring.
