Hi everyone - does anyone know of a good Black masked breeder in NJ? I would love to get a young pair but am having a little trouble finding a breeder in my area. Thanks!!

http://www.birdsnways.com/index.htm That place has a way to look for breeders by state. Also Check out www.petfinder.com. Never know someone might of rescued a few of them.

I can't help you here, other than suggesting that you contact your local bird club or vet offices for information. Sometimes the paper may even have birds for sale. There is also a list of breeders in the back of the BirdTalk/other bird magazines.

I got Beetle (OF green PF) from a breeder in Gloucester Co. Not exactly a quick drive from W. Caldwell but certainly manageable.

Here's a link: http://www.lovenlet.com.

VERY nice people and quick to respond w/ any questions or concerns. I haven't visited the site in a few days (TOO tempting) so I'm not sure what they have available at the moment. I can tell you that they do raise PF, Fischer's and masked.

Best of luck!
