Any petitions against selling unweaned birds

Are there any petitions against selling unweaned birds because I have recently read of birds dying horrible deaths because of them being unweened when sold or even unhatched! These stories moved me and I would like to sign one. If there isnt any recent active one someone should create one.

This is probably the biggest issue in aviculture and it's a battle that no one has managed to win yet! I agree that it's wrong to sell unweaned babies, even if it's to an experienced handfeeder. My own personal thoughts are that baby birds should be raised by their parents and socialized by us humans.
