OK it can't all be rosy all the time right?
Does anyone else ever get ticked-off by their bird sometimes?
Lately, I have not had alot of patience and so when Peppero poops on my hand or chirps non-stop I get so annoyed.
I'd like to know that I'm not the only one who gets a bit ticked from time to time at their little feathered friend.

Yes, there are moments where Melody is the most obstinate, persistent, annoying little creature ever. Especially when she's h***-bent on burrowing in my shirt and biting me in the face when I won't let her. But you know what? That strong little personality of hers is one of my very favorite things about her! I wouldn't have her any other way.
I get frustrated when I look at the shelve that Blu chewed off. I get frustrated when she chews on the doors and door frame. And that wall water fountain that Danny likes so much and is missing big chunks? It frustrates me. It frustrates me when Phoebe decides she wants to get away and flies into a wall.
Do I get frustrated? Absolutely. Do I take it out on them? Absolutely not. Welcome to the world of eternal 2 year old :D

Yep, I get frustrated when it's dinner time and all 4 lovies want to eat on ME!! At the same time  It can get annoying, but then I have to remember - Who's fault is it that all 4 act like this? Exactly  Like Elle said "Welcome to the world of eternal 2 yr olds."

I'm probably not the best to answer this, but...... I knew poop was part of the package, so that doesn't bother me. My birds are for the most part quiet, but when they do get into a chatter mood, I just chatter along with them. We have a grand time seeing who can get the loudest, and it does help to keep it from annoying me. I guess the old saying, "If you can't beat them, join them" applies here:lol

I wouldn't say I get ticked off at the little buggers - but sometimes after being at work all day and then coming home - making dinner, wash blah blah blah....you get really wiped out some days - so when I am feeling a little overdone and cranky and I know even a little peck my take me over the edge I just let everyone have their time out of their cages - bigs ones first for an hour and then little ones for an hour - they may not be overly happy that "mom" isn't "playful" that day but at least they get their playtime and that keeps them happy and distracted from getting bored.

I'll admit that I've never been angry or mad at Oliver but I did want to give my Shy boy a good smack last night! He can be so nasty to his brother, Big Boi, and even though they now each have a cozy at night, Shy will chase Big Boi out of both of them! I think he does it more when I'm in the room than when he can't see me. I always peek through the blinds about 15 minutes after the lights go out and each is in their cozy but Shy just can't let him get in there in peace and w/o a good chase first. Even my hubby told me to put Shy in a separate cage last night! :D But I didn't.....I let them work it out but that is hard sometimes. Big Boi bites sometimes and they all three poop and chirp and that doesn't phase me. It's the "not being nice to your brother" that bothers me. Just like kids! :D Shy is my most "lovebird like" bird in personality so I guess I can't really fault him for his behavior....he's just being a birdie! Big Boi and Oliver are too nice for their own good sometimes! :lol And btw, I would never smack any of them, I just felt like it last night!
