This place has a ok selection of cages too. I prefer to get my cages at a bird fair though as prices are so much lower. Plus I cna see what I am getting first hand.

That sounds like an excellent idea! We could put it under the Housing and Toys section of Care as a sticky post, and add or subtract links as they become available or stop working. Whatcha think?

Yep, that is a great ideal! There are so many websites that so many of us are not aware of. Since I'm not doing anything at work, new websites would give me something to do :whistle:

Probably not, since they would like to have access to our members. However, we need to make sure this is all okay with Linda. She has been offered exchange links with many commercial sites in the past and has turned them down.

I have no problems with a thread that has links to online stores. While the online stores benefit from the link here, our members benefit from having a selection of places to find what they need.

What really irks me is when a site that has something to sell posts a link to my site and then asks me to post a reciprocal link to theirs. I don't get asked first. The link is posted on their site and they automatically figure I'm willing to do the same for them. Well, depending on what the site is all about, I may not want to be associated with their products! I mean, pet doors has little or nothing to do with birds but I've gotten several requests from a site that sells them for a link on my main site.

I think it's a great idea to have a sticky. I would only suggest we post sites that someone has had a positive experience with. I'd hate to post a site just cause it looks like it's cool and then one of our members have problems if they purchase something.

Personally, I love online stores but rarely order anything cause the shipping to Hawaii is EXPENSIVE:eek: :eek: .

I think a sticky thread with a list of online stores is awesome. I know many of us have some of our favorites that are tried and true, and I think everyone would benefit from this list. Besides, it would probably give me some new shopping sites too;)
