Hi everybody! I read somewhere that I should try to make my lovie solve puzzles in order to challenge it to forage. I tried that this week. Given my limited budget i had to improvise. I used a clear plastic cup, put a few seeds there and checked if Biscuit would actually get the challenge. I guess they are smart birds after all. I also use a trail of bird seed in order to lure Biscuit nearer to me. I find that this way is less traumatic for him and he gets used to my presence more.

I know you've all seen to much of him already. I guess I can't help but act like a first time father who is obsessed about his' baby's every acheivement. I hope you all indulge me.

No no, you have that backwards.;)

Your lovies are supposed to teach 'you' how to solve puzzles. See, they shred up a few twenty dollar bills and then they see if you can put them back together. And... Good luck with that.

My vet also recommends foraging toys, especially for my little feather picker Milo. I started a thread a little while back about foraging toys, especially quick easy homemade ones. You can see in the photo album I included, I definitely did NOT break the bank on these toys. :) The link to the thread is attached below.

Hay, thanks for the encouragement laura. I just have this concern, Biscuit is learning how to nip. Anything I can do to prevent that?
