OMG i got my LOvie today!! finaly i have been waitong for more than a year gfor this day. He is very sweet but he is veery shy. I have takin him out. He still needs to get used to me though. But he is such a precious little angel!! I promise I will have photos soon.

He is a little older than two months. He is such a little sweety he is on my shoulder right now lol

One of the things you need to be careful about is that he's eating and eating enough. Make sure that he goes back to his cage often enough to fulfull his nutritional needs. Some youngsters will want to spend all their time with you simply because they are very social. When you eat, you may want to put together a small plate for him!

Yes Linda, I have been noticing that he he knows where his food bowl is and everything. I have seen him go down twice yesterday to eat. It was quite a bit too. He has been doing good otherwise. He has his little pinnata toy he loves and even slept on it... lol. I am going to start with the step up today. He knows how to do it because the breeder taught him but I will still let him get the hang of it in a new environment. =D

That's a great idea especially if you eat in the same room with him. One sure fire way to get Ditto to eat is for me to eat something. He always has dinner with me. :cool:

Yeah he has been doing good with the eating. I tried giving him brocoli yesterday and he ate a little. Oh by the way I named him petey he picked himself! lol. I think he is a boy and he seems to tell me he is. Its weird cause when me and petey were picking names he only like petey. See I would call out some names but when I said petey he turned his his head like he was interested. so i thought to name him Petey!
