Yep, I've said a few of those and more along with the whole nap thing. The girls at the office just laugh at me

Oh, yah, all the time - but I've learned not to say, "I'm going to go get in the shower; do you want to come?" while I am in the bird room. You haven't felt guilt until you say that and then 12-ish lovies all start SCREAMING to be let out of their cages so they can come sit on the shower perch and play in the water, and you know there is no way you can accomodate them all in one shower session...

...anyway, yup; sounds like perfectly normal interaction between you and the rest of your flock. :)

He will curl up between my chest muscles and snuggle there when I am sitting back in my Office chair and next thing you know I am trapped until he wakes up! :omg:

I cant even sit normal and get back to work either! :lol

When I first got Peter (3 years ago) I tried and tried to get him to trust me. Once he got on my arm to eat from his plate that I was bringing to him. He had bird bread, sprouts, veggies - and such. I stood stock still for 20 minutes for him to eat and play. It felt like my arm would fall off, but I was not going to miss one minute of this!

I must admit. I have done things for my flock that I never in a million years would have imagined me doing. LOL Kiwi loves hiding under my hair. Especially after a good bath. Then he soon falls asleep and I am stuck. Sitting there waiting for a sign he is awake. I carry full conversations with all my companions. What is even sadder is they listen and follow directions better than the children.LOL

I've also come in the room excitedly with a small dish of cut up veggies and said, excitedly, "Who wants squash??" My sister and her daughter said in unison, "No, thanks." I said, "I wasn't talking to YOU, I was talking to the birds!"
