Late Sunday afternoon Mango and Kodiak took a nap and after a while I heard loud and clear full out singing, a whole chorus of all the chirps and whistles and sounds they know. First I thought it was Mango because he loves to be as loud as can be when he sings and he normally does this just sitting on a perch and looking out the window happily singing. Then I noticed it was Kodiak laying down with her head hanging out a bit in her cozi with Mango's head just rested right on top of hers singing away while sleeping. She looked sooo cute that I had to get it on video esp since she has gotten more vocal over the past week. But then Mango got excited when he saw my camera and he fully woke her up and she stopped, it had been going on for a full 20 minutes. I think she was just so happy to be snuggled up with her handsome beau. Kodiak is definitely Mango's birdie and not mine:happy:

They always keep me entertained with their cuteness!

Sarah,

They are adorable when they sleep & sing at the same time. My Olivia does this and after about 10 minutes of it my other three yell at her to be quiet :lol She is too cute. It's too bad you couldn't get it on video. Mine get excited when they see the camera too

Sarah, sweet! I've never heard any of my three do it but I'm sure it's adorable. :)

Hi, I'm Zorro the lovebird... I like to sing myself to sleep. You'll see me with my eyes closed (although I'm really peaking out sometimes) and just chirping away... I find it relaxing...

My sister's parakeets sing themselves to sleep but my lovebirds do not.

Melody will chirp and chatter and make R2D2 sounds to herself all afternoon, especially if there's a NASCAR race on. It's almost like she's calling the race herself, in lovebirdese.

Sarah,

That is adorable. Bela doesn't actually sing, but he makes a constant, "cheep, cheep, cheep" noise when he naps. It can get a little nerve wracking, but I love the little bugger, so of course I think it's adorable:lol

Sarah,
That's so cute! Peter, my green mask, sings full out like that when he's napping. My other two just kind of watch while he makes every sound he knows, copying other bird songs, too. He does this with his head turned completely around and his beak firmly nestled into his back. Aren't they funny?
