I'm just a little curious where others have seen their lovebird bed down for the evening? Poe insists on being on the highest thing in his cage, even if it means he has to balance on his little mirror toy. We've bought him two different snugglies, one thats like a nest, another thats a tent, and he falls asleep onto of them. :D As we speak, he's standing on the entrance of the nest snugglie (only because I purposely put its top snug to the roof of the cage to encourage him to sleep inside the darn thing.)

On the upside, he poops 40% on the snugglies, and almost all the rest on me, so his cage requires very little cleaning when I wash it.

Mine both have happy huts, and they always insist on sleeping on TOP of them, not in them. lol

Two of mine share a cage and each one usually sleeps inside his own cozy but sometimes they share the same one or one sleeps on top and one inside. I guess they like to mix it up! :D Oliver is afraid of a cozy and sleeps on either a rope perch or big old fat wooden perch. All three sleep high up.

Lets see. Piper sleeps on top of his cozy, Daisy sleeps inside her cozy, Olivia sleeps at the top of her boing and Molly... Well, Molly either "spends the night" with Piper on top of the cozy & eventually ends up on a perch or he sleeps in his night-night cage on his "blankie" in the corner at the bottom of the cage. Got it? :D

In my house, the birds will scramble to their coconut, snuggle in them be very quiet, hoping that we forget to put them back in their cage. So, if given a chance, they would spend thenight in their coconut outside the cage.

Since they don't have a choice, Blu sleeps with her snuggle buddy. Phoebe sleeps ona wooden perch. She has no interest in her cuddle birdy at night but will snuggle up to Blu's for a daytime siesta.

Everyone in my flock is different. Some still sleep hanging onto the side of the cage, others on swings, perches or in nest boxes. I even have a young pair that snuggle together on the bottom of the cage at night. As long as it's clean and they are resting, guess that's all that really matter.

Mine either sleep on the highest perch, or they sleep on the top of a swing or a toy- way up near where it's hooked to the top of the cage. How they sleep like that, just hanging on with their feet, I'll never know...:omg:

Noodles sleeps on top of his swing - wedged between the top bar and the cage top :)

George and Gracie sleep on their perches, but not always together. If they are nesting, Gracie sleeps in the box and George perches just outside of it.

Sammy sleeps in his happy hut. Didjit sleeps on his.

Bongo sleeps in the Cozy Pavilion. Barney sleeps on it.

Bosco sleeps on a perch close to Betty, who prefers to hang from the bars of the cage. If nesting, they behave the same as George and Gracie.

Mine snuggles up to her tent, but during the day she lives in a dressing gown which she has turned into a giant nest!
