Titter is starting to become more tame mostly because of Topaz but also because i have been giving him more space. He realy likes brocoly now because of Topaz :) and he had some carrot and grape today. He's now flying to people on his own from time to time. He does still do watever Topaz does alot, he even went into Topaz's cage because Topaz was in there:eek:. He took a bath in his drinking water today :lol its cute when he does that. He is doing realy good with step up i only have to hold my finger infront of him and he steps up. LoL he ate peanut leftovers from Topaz and he had peanut al over his face:lol. He realy likes the birds outside he'l sit infront of the window chirping and flying all the time its realy hard to get him away from the windows:p. He fell asleep on me twice yesterday while getting cudled he loved it he did his little beak scraping thing. yesterday he was kindof nippy though. but today he was nice:)

Titter is still young and very impressionable. Topaz seems to be a good example so he's following, which is a good thing. You will continue to see his personality develop as he grows. For now, he seems to have captured your heart....hook, line and sinker! (Good thing!)

I agree with Linda. Sounds like you're not too far from :Whatever Titter wants, Titter gets" :lol Can you say SPOILED??? (that's the best part ;) )

Great update! You're doing a good job and giving Titter a little space seems to have been exactly the thing he needed. Glad to hear that he's eating well, too. :D

Today me and Titter were alone in my room. when i stood beside him talking to him he hopped onto my shoulder and started nibling at my ear and my neclace then i went to lay on my bed and he was just playing with my shirt, my face, and my neclace. he bit my tooth gum and then my entire mouth tasted like earwax :x but the taste is gone now phew. i have read that there are bacteria in my mouth that can harm him but he has nibled on my food and seems perfectly fine. when i scared him he flew away and came right back to me :d he flew away a couple times one time he just sat somewhere staring at me while i was yawning then he kept on yawning and i yawned back at him and we just spent a couple min yawning at eachother:rolleyes: until i chirped at him and he flew onto my head:p then he was just playing with me like before until he heard the birds outside and sat there talking to them for a couple min before i brought him back to his cage to eat, drink etc.

That is not a good idea, letting him nibble anything that you have already bitten in to. And as far as him getting that close to the inside of your mouth (your gum), nope, that is not safe for him either. What might make one lovebird very sick might not affect another one.....then again, next time might be the bacteria that does make him very sick. Why take a chance with his health?
I knew nothing about pet bird healthy/safety when I adopted my first lovie and found this forum but I have never doubted anything that the experts here advised and informed me of regarding his best interest. Any good book on lovebird care will tell you the same thing.
