My bird "mindy" goes at her happy hut. I found this on the net and was laughing at the end. I will share this and hope you get a good laugh

That's what Molly does with a paper towel. Piper tries, but hasn't quite gotten it down.

Kiko would do that. I would LAUGH so hard and try and tell her to stop...but she was in a daze....that is why I drew the leather outfit on her in a pic and called her dominatrix Kiko! TOO FUNNY

When Sydney first did that 6 months ago to his hut i couldnt beleive my eyes.
I did'nt know what to do so i took the hut out of his cage and that was the last time he did that.

It is funny but it does feel awkard

Funny but it doesn't feel awkward to me. I guess it would be if I was observing humans but these birds of ours have none of those hang-ups. Even my hubby has stopped covering his eyes and just says "Shy's out there, doing his thing!" It's every day and often and if it makes him happy, I say....GO FOR IT, SHY! :) When he depletes a birdie buddy, I put in a new one for him.

I wish Milo would use a sock or a happy hut or a birdy buddy. It beats having him do that to the back of your hand while you're trying to work on the computer.

I even bought Milo a mate. He still humped the back of my hand ... while Melody stood an inch away, staring, and biting his toes!

Janie,

I agree with you! What everyone needs to remember is that these birds are still wild animals and this kind of stuff comes natural to them. Why would you stop him/her from doing something that's instinctive? I don't have a problem with it at all. I think we've had this conversation before - deja vu.

Man, at the end, did he really high tail it out of there or what?! (typical guy ;) ) "Wham, bam, thank you sock."

Dave,

The funny thing is, I don't even smoke so I couldn't give him one anyway. Wonder if he knows where the convenient store is

Uh oh......I have taken digital photos of Shy and his "friend" (a birdie buddy) and now that I've gotten a camcorder, yep, I've taped with that, too! :D I have not shared it in cyberspace yet but I don't think Shy would mind!

Um ... this picture of Sammy in his hat that's in my avatar, shows him with his Fuzzy Frog. You can't really make out what he's doing, but it was nasty. ;)
