A lot of people here have many really nice playgyms out of Tinker Toys. I also know someone who made a nice one out of one of those wooden clothes drying racks. She added a bunch of ladders and toys to it.

Or, here is another suggestion. This is something I put together, and works good because I didn't have to put holes in my ceiling and I can move it around. I took a metal clothes rack and just hung stuff from it, like boings, wooden ladders, etc. My lovies love it. Here is a picture of it (not a great pic, but you get the idea):

That's an old picture of it, though. I have since added cloth tape to the top of it, because they just love to stand up there and feel like they are kings (or queens) of the castle! (The tape keeps them from slipping off.)

Christine, I love that idea. I will have to go out and look for a clothes rack.

I love the drying rack idea, too! I saw some pictures of one on the linnie list over on yahoo. It was so cute: all sorts of boings, ladders and other fun stuff.

The tinker toy idea is a great one, too.

I'd like to get Beetle-brat a playgym from http://www.jchobbitats.com... they are a little pricey, though. One of the bird stores near me gave me some ideas on how to make one myself, so we'll see ;)
