So I posted a while back about how my birds insist on hanging out on my lampshade ... and pooping on it.
They found another use for it this morning. Yes, I walked out into the living room where the birds were playing and there they were, doing the "dirty birdy" on top of my lampshade. :x
I just turned around and went back in the other room.
They really don't care where they do it, do they?

Jennifer,
I guess since Mel couldn't have satin sheets, she thought the silk lampshade would do just as well:lol
From what little experience I have with the swishy, swishy, NOPE, they don't care where, when, or who's watching:blush:

Nope, they have absolutely no shame. In front of guests, in the livingroom or while you are at the diningroom table eating.....or on the phone trying to have a serious conversation.
That's what you get for having that spicy, leaopard print lampshade anyway!

You know, I've only caught Beetle doing the swishy-swishy ONCE. It was pretty hilarious. I couldn't help but say, "Beetle, you naughty monkey!" >: He gave me SUCH a look...

The other half of this story is that after they got down off the lampshade, I let them play together in Milo's cage for a few minutes because obviously they were getting along a little better than recently. :p
I was out of the room for maybe a minute when I heard what sounded like someone's toenails being ripped out. I ran into the room expecting to break up the fight of the century and instead found Melody having a post-swishy snack out of Milo's treat cup. Milo was fluttering all around her, screaming, obviously distressed that she was eating HIS snacks.
Geez, Milo, if she's gonna let you swishy swishy with her then I think you can share a popcorn nutriberry or two.
