gacking or.....

this is my first lovebird soo im not shure if he is gacking or not?! im woried he might be ckoking. he is raising his top beak and his tongue is going forword and back and he does this for like 20 sec. at a time!! im getting kinda worried:(

20 seconds sounds like an awful long time to me. How often does he do this? Does he appear to be gacking for an object or just sitting on a perch when this happens?

he does this about 3 times a day. it doesnt look lik he is gacking for a object.he just sits on his swing and does it.
if i had had him longer i would think he was gacking for me but ive only had him a month.
