These are peachfaces.

I used to have Daisy(f) and Clover(f) in the same cage. I used to think that Clover was a boy because I assumed that Daisy laid the eggs that she was sitting in their nest box and Clover didn't sit them but kept outside the nestbox on gaurd duty.

Daisy was also the dominate one.

They've been seperated for a while now but I recent found out that Clover is a girl b/c she started laying eggs.

Daisy hasn't laid any. But after all that, does it sound like Daisy is a girl?

Sometimes males can have dominant personalities. I have one such male in the flock here: Didjit. He is also larger than an average male lovie.

Short of DNA testing, the only way to confirm that Daisy is a girl will be for her to lay eggs too. :)
