No, it is not another bird..lol. My daughter got a new bed today and since hers was not to old we moved it into the bird room. LOL all I need is a mini fridge and I will not have to leave it. Now I have a place to sit and play with birds and it not have to be the floor.

Steph, I'm glad that worked out. Now you can lie down and chat with the lovies. :)

Awwww, a bed in the bird room! :D Who could ask for anything more! When Big Boi and Shy were in quarantine, they were in a spare bedroom and I loved lying down on the bed and letting them crawl all over me. I put a big spread, easy to wash, on the bed and we played and they pooped for hours! :lol

Hmmm,
Wonder what hubby would say if I moved a bed into the dining room?????:lol
Steph,
Sounds like you've got almost all you need in that room now. You're right, a little fridge, and you're set;)

Cool, Steph!
Before I re-did my back bedroom, I had a twin bed back there but I found it worked well to hold bird cages... :(

Great idea, Linda! Other pieces of furniture that work well as bird cage stands:
Sewing machine cabinet. Not like I have time to sew, anyway.
Dining room table. Just brush the birdseed off and put the plate down. They won't throw poop ... well ... not too far, anyway.
Buffet. Again, just brush the seed off and put the serving plates down. If your guests have a problem with bird seed near their food then they probably don't want to know that you had to wipe bird poop off the furniture 5 minutes before they showed up.
Dining room chair. Easy to carry onto the screen porch to hold a bird cage.
Coffee table. Perfect for when birdy is new to the house and you want to sit and talk with her.
End table. Wait a minute. We don't have an end table because that's where the big old Kings cage goes.

Jennifer,
My patio table makes a wonderful place to put bird cages when I want to put any of my lovies outside for a while. The lanai is fully screened so I simply make sure that I've secured all exits from the cage and my lovies can enjoy some time out in the fresh air, temperatures permitting.
I, too, have an extra sewing machine cabinet that serves as a resting place for a bird cage. Depending on the size of the cage, old nightstands can be used in the same manner.
I created an area about 7' long by placing part of a platform bed support across 3 3-drawer stacking storage containers. Not only do I have an area to stack cages, I also have 9 drawers to hold almost anything I want/need put away.
