Little Beetle has been home with me for a year now 8) He came from a wonderful breeder in NJ (www.lovenlet.com) and I couldn't be more thrilled with my decision to bring a lovebird into my life.

The wee green monster has been a wonderful companion, despite his thinking that fingers are the ultimate snack food :evil:

Now, if I were a better bird-mom I'd have an album full of photos up... There are a dozen or more stuck in my digi-cam at the moment. Once I get them uploaded, I'll be sure to share!

Thank you all for your kind words, advice and just being super-cool folks. I'm so glad that I came across this site... and I'm sure that Beetle-brat is, too :D

It is a amazing how they immerse themselves so deeply into your heart, and for that matter, you into theirs. There's nothing quiet like a lovie bond, and Beetle sure was lucky to find his way to you.

You two have a very special day:D

It's great to know that Beetle has spent his first year in his forever home! Amazing how 50 grams of feathers can capture a human heart so swiftly! :)
