today I was goin to my friend's house and on my way, I saw the hugest outdoor aviary ever. They had so much space to fly and run around. It had like 8 peachfaces of all colors, 5 black masked, and about 4 Fischer's lovebirds. The thing that shocked me was in that cage, there were 2 cockatiels. The 2 were not getting picked on and were going around in there pretty confident. They looked healthy too and he lovebirds were not picking on them but actually got along with each other. The lovebirds in there were not babies either. How did the owner manage to get them to behave? I mean so many lovies and none were harassing the 2 cocaktiels

If the aviary is huge enough and the birds were introduced properly, they would consider themselves to be living in a situation close to that which would occur in the wild. Birds co-mingle in the wild all the time.

Your neighbor is fortunate to have this arrangement. It must be a sight to see.
