Wow,
That's just down the road from me. There are some bad things going on down in what we call "The Boro" short for Murfreesboro. It is a college town(MTSU), and I hate that it's turning into what it is. It really used to be a very cool little town.

Do you know if this is the same area where the American Quarter Horse filly was killed by 2 students? If it is the area I'm thinking of it doesn't sound like the nicest area. I've been to Nashville a couple times on holiday, and had a blast, it's a great city, doesn't sound like you have the best neighbours though.

Jenna,
I'm not real sure if that is the same area. I did hear about that in the news though, just can't recall exactly where it was.
I actually live in Franklin, just outside of Nashville. I do love it, but it's grown so much that we are looking to move a little further out toward the country. That is if you can still find that around here:rolleyes:

What's happening to Murfreesboro? When I lived in Nashville we used to go hang out there ALL the time!

Perran,
There's still a good side. Like most towns, you have a good side, and a bad side. It just seems like the bad always finds it's way into the good:(
There's been some drug activity, some murder/suicides, robbery, rape, you name it there. Of course that goes on all over, but Murfreesboro used to be a very quaint, small town, not anymore:rolleyes:
