It says It was posted in May 2004 at Petco's site but, It is definately something new to me. If anything drops in the floor whether fruits, veggies, or meat my dog likes to scoop them up before even taking a taste. This will definately make me more aware of what goes into my doggies mouth.
Im wondering how big the Canister that this dog ate half of. My dog has eaten raisins before but, in VERY SMALL amounts with No problems...hmm?
Something worth looking up!! Thanks for posting this Linda! :)

Sam, my Corgi, is like that! If it hits the floor, it's fair game and gets inhaled before I even have a chance to see what it was that he got to eat! I was not aware that raisins, even in small quantities, can be fatal to dogs.

When referring to this activity (dogs licking/eating/inhaling food that hits the floor) PLEASE use the proper term (Karen and I made it up years ago)........
(drum roll please)

Nope! The function works perfectly everytime and I don't have to do anything...... other than drop something on the floor, of course!

Yes, raisins (and grapes) can be fatal to some dogs. I thought this was well known!
No more oatmeal raisin cookies for fido.
