Alright, Louie LOVES to shred things. Today I noticed that when he shreds a piece of paper, he'll try to stick it in his chest feathers which doesn't work too well. Is this normal behavior???

I have heard of them sticking paper up the toosh...I'll be interested to see what others have to say on this one. :)

None of my males have ever shredded or tucked...Mango makes spit balls, however. And tries to "help" by removing his mate's shreds from her rump where she so painstakingly tucked it...I also have never seen tucking in the chest feathers! (of course, none of this is to say that these things don't happen!)

I will wonder, however, if Louis is really a Louise. DNA sexing and egg laying can tell you for sure, however:wink:

Aren't lovies fun?
