Well, I picked up my new boy today from Jessica at Lovenlet. What a little sweetheart he is!! He steps up and gives kisses already. What nice people she and her husband are and so knowledgeable! We're working on a name that I will announce at a later date. He and Willy are already chatting long distance. It will be a long 30 days but safety comes first. He's sitting on my shoulders now just taking in his new home. Time to go spend some quality time bonding and send him off to bed for a good nights sleep.

Hi Lis and congratulations onthe little one. I can't wait to see pictures.

I know 30 days seems long but you'll see, it's not so bad. I had to do it twice this year. I wouldn't go through it again if I can help it but looking back, it's a great opportunity to develop a bond with each bird before they truly find their place in their new flock.
