I'm thinking that a lot of you guys would be against flight suits but what about the kind that have pouches so it stays away from the body?
It would be really, really, really nice to take the fids around the house without shleping along baby wipes and a towel.
This is all assuming they don't go crazy and try to rip them off.

An on-line aquaintance of mine had one for her lovebird -- the bird diaper and harness. He looked quite dashing in his little rainbow suit.
I think that the trick is to let the bird, lovebird or otherwise, get used to the bird diaper and harness before putting them on them. Place it near the cage or their playstand so the bird can see it. Play with the diaper and harness while interacting with your bird. And then... well, let us know how it goes!
I've been thinking of getting on for Beetle as well ;)

Oh, they have ALL sorts of crazy costumes for the larger birds. Not so much for the smaller ones... but I have a feeling if you wanted a lovie-sized costume, they'd make one for you!

If any of you get your lovebirds into diapers and flights suits, PLEASE have someone video it and share it here! Yes, I have seen them on larger parrots but there is no way I can imagine getting one on a lovie. Seriously, I would worry that any of my three would be scared to death and could injure themselves getting it on, getting it off or while they're in it. Just my :2cents:

I saw a cute one online for a lovie just yesterday for Valentine's day; white with red hearts. But how to get it on without catching a feather the wrong way and traumatizing the bird? Soooo cute, but I'll wait for someone else to try it.

Unless your lovebird is 100% tame and trusting I would not even try to put a flight suit on any bird. Not only would they hate it, but it would do some serious damage to the trust!
I also think it's undignified to put such a regal animal in any kind of suit. I think they are absolutely stunning in their full feather  .

Of course they are Laura! But they also go to the bathroom all over the place. It'd be nice to have a respite from that to take them around the house.

Oliver is 100% tame and trusting but I'll bet he'd go wild and UNtrusting if I put a flight suit on him and I wouldn't blame him a bit. I've never dressed up my dog so I won't be starting it now with lovebirds.

But Ginger, my poodle, tells me she likes it... Well... She'll like what I tell her to like!
