I introduced Sunset's new companion to him last night and all seems to be going well. I had a female Whiteface Creamino Peachie out in my aviary who really did not seem to care for anyone in the cage with her. She's about 7 months old, very sweet and extremely docile for a parent raised lovebird. Sunset has cataracts so I don't know how much he sees but he's enjoying someone to cuddle with.
That is so sweet. Now Sunset has someone to look after him in his old days :)

i have a name suggestion, if not any of your birds named this. But what about Sunlight, sounds like she brightens up birds in cage, also she may become Sunset`s eyes. love a happy beginning.

Awww, I'm such a sucker for a happy ending (or like Cassy said, a happy beginning) that this story has put a smile in my face. :)
Thanks for posting!

>o That is the sweetest darn thing I ever read. I love it when animals show us what real compassion is. I hope they have very many happy years together.
