Hey everyone, need some help here. First off, "I don't wanna give em up", babies are leaving this week got them great homes, but here's my problem. I want to give one lady the do's and dont's of lovebirds. Very nice women, my neighbor, is taking one of the clutch. I even ordered the cage for her, guess I'm being the protective grandparent. Heres my problem ,she really doesn't speak a lot of english, shes Portuguese, is there anyone in the flock who can translate for me? I just want to give her the basics, teflon pots, self cleaning ovens, scented candles etc. I can write up the do's and don'ts in english, just have to translate them. Its funny, she came over this week to see her baby, and oohed and ahhhed , just fell in love with them, but they freeaked. I mean freaked, then it dawned on me , their whole life,8 weeks, they have only heard my partner and my voice, they never heard a womens voice( we might be gay, but we're manly LOL) after a while they settled down, just wanted to share that thought it was hysterical, and if anyone has any do's or don'ts please remind me. Ok, off to Walmart here, gotta get a temp. cage for the lutino I'm adopting today. Giving away Milo and Sofia and keeping Chad(the slate) hope I have a chad and lucinda or maybe louie and chazz or what ever, **** look who their grandparents are, lol. Have a great day everyone! Chris:lol :lol :lol :lol :lol

Hi Chris!

I can't speak or write in Portuguese but my mother tongue is Spanish. If you don't get anyone who can help you with the portuguese translation, I could do it in Spanish. They're very similar languages, specially when you read them.

Let me know in that case.

Gloria

You're not being overprotective at all, Chris!

I think that it is wonderful that you would go to the trouble of finding someone to translate your care instructions :)
