Hello, thanks for sharing this website. I know this subject has very mixed views. I will admit I was concerned about clicker training until I read a book about it and saw how one of my birds could have a better quality of life with a little guidance. I now have a book on clicker training as well as the clicker and a ring toss. I was planning to start Target Training using a chop stick. One of my birds, Johnny, is very hand shy, so I plan to use this method to train him to come onto my hand. Johnny does not really know how to play, as he was without toys etc, for the first year of his life. He has lots now, but just is not too comfortable with them. I hope to teach him how to play at a later time. Thanks again for sharing this, it gives me a better idea of how it is done.

Not sure I like this. Hope that this cage isn't their full time one. Not a toy in sight. Also couldn't a laser hurt their eyes? I thought you weren't supposed to look directly at one and they wouldn't know that.

I agree and the car noise in the backround is disturbing.. but the willingness of the bird is impressive. I do not need to train Bo that way she comes when she called most of the time and I enjoy her free spirit
