I just found this really neat website that makes feather pottery from birds feathers.

You can either send them your birds feathers and they will make a pottery piece for you or they can use feathers that they have in stock. It is kind of pricey but what a nice way for a rememberance of your special bird....past or present.

They show some nice pics and explain how they make them.

Hmmmm.....I wonder if they make "Husband" pottery....I could send them some of my hubby's hair....well maybe not....he doesn't have much to spare....http://images.bravenet.com/common/images/smilies/27_laughing.gif http://images.bravenet.com/common/images/smilies/18_crazy.gif

I have that site bookmarked :)

I wish that I had some hair from one of my favorite horses that have now passed on. The Clay Pony people make really neat pottery with horse hair...

That is so cool! I have bags full of feathers and how many dream catchers can a person have? :D I just love the idea of the feathers added to pottery! Thanks for the link!
