My flock is now with Cassy

Hi everyone. This weekend we did the deed, hired a big van and drove the 3 1/2 hours to Cassy. The flock shouted protests in the back of the van, but all seemed to cope with the journey as well as can be expected.

They are now settled in a lovely light airy room with Cassy's existing flock - how she will cope with the noise of 7 lovies and a parrot I do not know!

It was of course a very sad day for me, but I know that they will be ever so well looked after. I have had an update from Cassy who tells me that they are beginning to settle down and start eating.

I think they will be very happy, and Cassy can give them so much more time and attention than I could latterly.

I am so glad that the trip went well, and also that Cassy passed along the hug. I know you were doing what you felt best for your fids, but also know it was a hard day, so wanted you to have a hug from me. I know it came through Cassy, but it's the closest I could get;)

Now, just because Cassy has the lovies, doesn't mean we don't expect to hear from you. I know you will pop in for updates, but do keep in touch:)

I must have missed the reason why you needed to transfer your birds, but I don't think you could have found a better care-taker. (We don't really own birds, do we.)

lol + 2 cats that mew when its feeding time and Kitten cat does the "I am Tired cried" around about 11am. then he slopes off to bed. (my Oldest very rarely mews, unless he is not well..)
Red the parrot can out noise all of the lovies, more so if he spots another bird outside, warning shriek and its really piercing.
Today they all had treats, they had Fruit on a stick, that you hang on the cage. Legs bit err a bit confused as to what it is. Legs and Red have been head banging to each other. silly boys.
So all in all they ok. They sure know their Routine well Bella. More so Miss Lemon , she sit by her bowl waiting for her veggies. Bless her. Soon as i can i will upload some pictures of them.
