Today, Ron (my husband) & I went to a bird fair. We brought home a male lovebird for Paulie, our female lovebird. Surprisingly, it was Ron's idea to purchase the little fellow. He's a 3 year old male - normal green peachface split to lutino and possibly opaline. Here a few photos of him: http://community.webshots.com/album/558760131viaFYe

I am glad you decided to keep Paulie!! What a pretty male friend you go for her!! I have 2 normal greens (well they look like normal greens....mutations aren't my strong point), and I think they are so pretty!!

Oh I see you have a house full of pets!!! Even some curly haired, flightless birdies!!

Got a name picked out yet? (I vote Peter)

He looks like my Goofy! Maybe he'll give Paulie something to think about besides brushing up on her defensive skills with you so much. When my daughter used to bring her lovie to visit it was cute to watch the curiosity when we put their cages close together. Thanks for pics!.....Michael and Goofy

Don't forget quarantine, especially if birdie came from a birdfair.

30 days minimum.

He is a cutiepie.

Thank you for all the complements on my parrots and poodles. I decided to name the little fellow Obi. He's not tame. He was a breeder bird. I think he's a bit freaked out with his move - new cage, toys, a pack of poodles and etc. Hopefully, Miss Paulie will like him and not attack him.
