Ooooo, I think I know where I want to go on vacation next year!! Let us know how it goes and if it's worth the time & effort to get there from Georgia (as we pass our relatives on the way :lol ). Cool!!

Hi Kim,
Looks like it would be a nice trip, especially around Niagara Falls! Lories are a lot of fun and I enjoy them everytime I go through the Busch Gardens exhibit here in Tampa! :)

We didn't go
Daughter was still feeling cruddy from having the chicken pox all week. She thought she'd be ok to go, but no luck. She's scabbed over now but feels just blah. She pleaded with us to go another time when she could come, she's a birdie freak like her mamma. So, we decided to go one Saturday when she's feeling better and the kids are almost done school anyway, so weekdays would work too.
If anyone goes before me....let me know how it is. Our drive there would be about 1.5 hrs...not too bad.
Cries...

Kimmie,

Sorry you guys didn't make it, but yep, there are other weekends, and I know your daughter wouldn't want to miss that trip. It is quiet obvious how much she loves the birds. Hope she feels better soon.

Kimmie, WOW! What great photos! I just loved the one of your son with all those birdies on him! I have no idea what half of the species are but they sure are pretty and I enjoyed seeing them. :)

It's 6:45 pm here at work, and once I get home and settled, I'll whip out my aviary guide and get to naming some of those pics:) Sorry to keep you all guessing LOL I was just too beat last night to bother. Needless to say, I lay in bed until 5 am wide awake, too excited about the birds that day, to sleep

There were african greys, B&G macaws, flamingos, parakeets, lorikeets, toucans, doves, quail just to name a few....:) Again, if anyone is going near to Niagara, it's worth the drive to ONTARIO :)
