why does my bird act like hes flying?

My bird likes to grab onto the side of the cage and flaps its wings like crazy like hes flying. What is this? Even when sitting there he justflaps like crazy and his wings will hit the cage and stuff.

If his wings are hitting the sides of the cage, it's time for a bigger cage. He can really hurt himself!!

Well his wings are hitting the cage because hes holding onto the side of the cage. His cage is plenty big

If he's hitting the side and there's room elsewhere, then I doubt he's doing too much damage. Just make sure there's room on the perches if he wants to excersize there as well without hitting anything.:)
