Given the nature of another post perhaps my timing is a bit off..
I don't think it's inappropriate at all... actually if anything, it shows that animals are amazing and things they do that seem mean to us are actually out of need for survival, and that they do know love and compassion. If this incredible 'family' is possible, it means that in the case of the other post, the cruel and barbaric one is only truly the human party. :(

Dani, I couldn't agree more.

I used to have three female fancy rats as pets. I had them since they were babies and they were just the cutest things ever. They were so sweet, so friendly- much friendlier than the two hamsters I had in the past. They are underrated little creatures, if you ask me.
