i found this product (http://www.petco.com/product/15363/Citrus-Magic-Carpet-and-Room-Odor-Eliminator.aspx). The only ingredients listed on the site are Borax and "pure citrus fragrance oils". I know it only has a picture of a cat and dog on it...but i searched for "carpet" and clicked BIRD to be specific and this is what it gave me. If using this is not a very good idea what would you recommend doing to deodrize my room without risking my birds health?

Try reading through this old thread. It has some good information about bird safe products. http://www.lovebirdsplus.com/community/showthread.php?t=5651&highlight=carpet :2cents:

I posted about Pink Solution which can be used in a carpet cleaning machine. It removes odors as well. I've used it and it does an amazing job. :) It can be used for spot cleaning as well.

That product looks AMAZING! Hmmm... maybe I can convince my sister and her DH to swing into Montreal to find me some when they drop my nephew off at college in VT :lol

I think that I'll send the company an e-mail to see if they plan on distributing the product in the states.

Baking soda. Sprinkle in on, vacuum it up.
