Do any of your birds do this?

Sometimes Peachie will sit in a corner, and chirp, chirp, chirp at the same spot, while simultaniously rocking up and down. She'll do this for several minutes before stopping.

It's the weirdest thing!

Haku does that sometimes, when he's feeling contented. The bigger birds do it too... maybe it's a happy thing, at least i hope it is!!

Melody does the loud, repetitive chirps. It's not unlike a car alarm. Quite obnoxious, actually...

In Mel's case, I think she's trying to be obnoxious to get me to come let her out of the cage. :roll:

Our femal Peachie used to do it when we had her, just bopping up and down repeatedly. I read somewhere that it was a form of showing aggression, and she was indeed a very tempermental little girl, but this particular move seemed to be more out of an excited [ie: yey, you're here, now let me out of the cage!] kind of bop.
