Lorikeets!!! I am fully convinced that if a lorikeet had been the one to fly into my life, that I would have a house full of them instead of lovebirds. :lol
I absolutely adore them and think their personalities are great. Course everytime I get the feeling that I really would like one, I just go to the zoo and visit them http://www.oregonzoo.org/Exhibits/lories.htm.

The national aviary in Pittsburg just created a walk in lorikeet aviary. I might need to make a road trip!
