Does anyone know what a lovebird means when she chirps and bobbs her head up and down?
She is doing it to me and I don't know why?
thanks

I tend to think that's a happy-birdie thing. Fenway seems to do that when she's excited and happy.

Skittles will bob her head up and down so fast it blurs together... she only really does that with a high pitched noise (spoon hitting the side of a coffee cup) or when she hears the can opener.. go figure..
Kirby will mimic you and bob his head in unison to whatever youre bobbing haha

my bird does something similar as well. when i click my mouse button repetativly the bird gets so excited and walks around my hand on the mouse and frills the feathers on the back of its neck. also it bobs its head and mimic the clicking noise. it was doing the same thing with my foot the other day while i was laying on the couch.

Mine bobs her head and chirps too. I'm guessing the chirping is a happy and curious chirp and the bobbing is judging distance to get to what she's curious about.
haku bobs his head and chirps too, when he is in a good mood, taking a break from playing, or just especially happy :lol He looks too cute doing it :D
