Just curious, I've done some research on invisible ink and I can't seem to find if it has anything harmful to birds. To be more specific, it's the invisible ink that you can see under a blacklight. Elvis and Jackie have unfortunately started again(too soon) and so I've come up with and idea to monitor the eggs by drawing on a shape with a light coat of invisible ink. I have already ruled out the possiblility of Elvis and Jackie could rub the ink off. I'm still in the thinking process. It's just that I'm taking very careful notes on this couple for study. No projects or anything, just because I want to be as observant as ever considering I've only been with lovies for almost a year. Anyway, does anybody happen to know about invisible ink? I can't find anything and I just picked it out because the parents might not be able to see it...I do remember that birds have 4 different kinds of cones in their eyes and we only have 3. Do their cones extend to see UV? Just a curious guy:). Thanks!
